Prakrit Sachdeva

Impact Program Manager at ProVeg Incubator

Prakrit Sachdeva is Impact Program Manager (Kickstarting For Good) at ProVeg Incubator. He is an entrepreneurship, ecosystem management and hospitality expert. Prior to joining ProVeg, he was with SAP.iO and SAP and co-founded HAKS – Hospitality And Kitchen Solutions in his hometown Delhi, India. Prakrit is passionate about the world of innovation and entrepreneurship, and how innovation can be used to do good for our society and the planet.

Albrecht Wolfmeyer

Director at ProVeg Incubator

Albrecht Wolfmeyer is Director at ProVeg Incubator. He joined ProVeg International in 2018 to build and launch ProVeg Incubator, the world’s first startup program dedicated to supporting impact-driven startups developing animal-free food solutions. Prior to joining ProVeg, Albrecht took charge of marketing and communications at the World Association of German Schools Abroad (WDA), a global non-profit organization. He led research projects in collaboration with the Bertelsmann Foundation and the University of St. Gallen. As a project and marketing manager at KPMG, Albrecht focussed on key topics like high-growth markets. As co-founder of a social startup, he gathered first-hand experience as an entrepreneur. Albrecht is a mentor, juror and speaker at numerous international food-tech, investment and startup programs, competitions and events. Albrecht studied in Berlin, Toronto, Paris and Fribourg. He holds degrees in non-profit and association management from the University of Fribourg and in social sciences from the Humboldt University of Berlin. Albrecht speaks German, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Antje Räuscher

Senior Innovation, Partnerships Manager and Co-Head

Antje is in charge of running the accelerator programme and selecting and coaching the startups that the Incubator works with. She is a trained agricultural economist, with a focus on food security and has a Bachelor’s in International Business Management. Antje worked in business development for consulting companies, as well as startups, and in the international cooperation field before joining the Incubator.

Hédi Farhat

Investment Associate

Hédi evaluates promising startups and coaches them throughout the period they participate at the Incubator. Hédi has an extensive background in investment and finance, he has worked for consulting companies, VC funds, and infrastructure companies. Before joining the team, he also founded a company that specialises in building startup investment theses. Hédi has an MSc. in Corporate Finance, is a Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst® and is an all-around investment specialist.

Divya Murthy

Co-head / Investments Lead

Divya is in charge of evaluating companies to facilitate ProVeg’s startup investments. She also assesses and coaches startups during the accelerator programme. Divya is an MBA with a major in finance and has over six years of experience working with companies in strategy evaluation, due diligence, and financial modelling. Before joining the Incubator, Divya worked across roles in mergers and acquisitions consulting, corporate credit rating, and risk advisory.

Ronen Bar

the Modern Agriculture Foundation

Ronen specialises in fundraising, marketing, and human resources. As the Chairman of the Board at the Modern Agriculture Foundation and former VP of SuperMeat, a cultured meat company, Ronen is well connected in the alternative protein space. He is also the executive director of Sentient, an international investigative non-profit, and has a strong background in PR, marketing, crowdfunding, and investor relations.

Giancarlo Riboldi

Barilla

Giancarlo specialises in R&D. Giancarlo currently holds the position of Open Innovation Senior Manager at Barilla with a background in food science and technology. He works on innovation projects – particularly focused on baked goods. Giancarlo has launched a range of products onto the Italian market, including mini cakes, speciality bread, and danish pastry. He has also been involved in the palm oil removal project – reformulating bread and pastry products palm oil free.

Brian Chau

Mycokind

Brian specialises in R&D, production, distribution, and scaling. In just two years, Brian consulted for over 120 companies in the field of food science as the Senior Partner of Chau Time, and has scaled many young companies from concept to commercialisation. He is the Co-founder and CEO of MycoKind – a mushroom lifestyle brand using fungal biotechnology as its playground.

Antonio Malheiro-Reymão

Deltagel SA

Antonio specialises in scaling, marketing, and business development. With extensive experience in fast-moving consumer goods, retail, and distribution, Antonio is a serial entrepreneur with two successful exits in B2C on-the-go food industry and cloud-based marketing companies. Previously, Antonio held senior sales and marketing positions at CPG and IT EMEA companies.

Julian Nachtigal

Brussel Sprout Ventures

Julian specialises in scaling, operations, logistics, and human resources. Julian is the Managing Director of Brussel Sprout Ventures – a $15 million seed stage fund investing in a sustainable food system across three core areas: alternative proteins, ethical food logistics, and AgTech. Julian has 10 years of experience in the food tech space as an angel investor, advisor, and executive and was the former Head of Operations at Good Eggs.

Steffen specialises in marketing, sales, and key account management. Steffen is the CMO at Rügenwalder Mühle.

Chris Bryson

New School Foods / GlassWall Syndicate - Mentor

Chris Bryson is the founder and CEO at New School Foods, a food-tech startup developing whole-muscle seafood made from plants, for a more compassionate and sustainable world. As a mentor, he specialises in scaling, marketing, and business development. Chris is the Founder and CEO of Unata, an enterprise software company that helps grocery chains power their digital customer experiences. In 2018, Unata was acquired by Instacart. Chris focuses on food innovation and impact-driven causes and is an enthusiastic public speaker, angel investor, and coach to young startup companies. Prior to Unata, Chris worked in the loyalty industry at Aeroplan and was a marketing consultant for many Fortune 500 companies.

Jörn Gutowski

Try Foods

Jörn specialises in marketing, operations, and business development. Jörn is the Founder of two startups – Try Foods, a food curation and tasting experience company, and Zeevi, a chickpea tofu company. He has a strong background in marketing, PR, and sales with over 10 years of experience in these fields. In addition, he is a trainer in leadership and presentation skills.
