Prakrit Sachdeva

Impact Program Manager at ProVeg Incubator

Prakrit Sachdeva is Impact Program Manager (Kickstarting For Good) at ProVeg Incubator. He is an entrepreneurship, ecosystem management and hospitality expert. Prior to joining ProVeg, he was with SAP.iO and SAP and co-founded HAKS – Hospitality And Kitchen Solutions in his hometown Delhi, India. Prakrit is passionate about the world of innovation and entrepreneurship, and how innovation can be used to do good for our society and the planet.

Albrecht Wolfmeyer

Director at ProVeg Incubator

Albrecht Wolfmeyer is Director at ProVeg Incubator. He joined ProVeg International in 2018 to build and launch ProVeg Incubator, the world’s first startup program dedicated to supporting impact-driven startups developing animal-free food solutions. Prior to joining ProVeg, Albrecht took charge of marketing and communications at the World Association of German Schools Abroad (WDA), a global non-profit organization. He led research projects in collaboration with the Bertelsmann Foundation and the University of St. Gallen. As a project and marketing manager at KPMG, Albrecht focussed on key topics like high-growth markets. As co-founder of a social startup, he gathered first-hand experience as an entrepreneur. Albrecht is a mentor, juror and speaker at numerous international food-tech, investment and startup programs, competitions and events. Albrecht studied in Berlin, Toronto, Paris and Fribourg. He holds degrees in non-profit and association management from the University of Fribourg and in social sciences from the Humboldt University of Berlin. Albrecht speaks German, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Antje Räuscher

Senior Innovation, Partnerships Manager and Co-Head, ProVeg Incubator - Mentor

Antje is in charge of running the accelerator programme and selecting and coaching the startups that the Incubator works with. She is a trained agricultural economist, with a focus on food security and has a Bachelor’s in International Business Management. Antje worked in business development for consulting companies, as well as startups, and in the international cooperation field before joining the Incubator.

Hédi Farhat

Investment Associate

Hédi evaluates promising startups and coaches them throughout the period they participate at the Incubator. Hédi has an extensive background in investment and finance, he has worked for consulting companies, VC funds, and infrastructure companies. Before joining the team, he also founded a company that specialises in building startup investment theses. Hédi has an MSc. in Corporate Finance, is a Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst® and is an all-around investment specialist.

Divya Murthy

Co-head and Investments Lead, ProVeg Incubator - Mentor

Divya is in charge of evaluating companies to facilitate ProVeg’s startup investments. She also assesses and coaches startups during the accelerator programme. Divya is an MBA with a major in finance and has over six years of experience working with companies in strategy evaluation, due diligence, and financial modelling. Before joining the Incubator, Divya worked across roles in mergers and acquisitions consulting, corporate credit rating, and risk advisory.

Frohman specialises in marketing, operations, and business development. Frohman launched and sold his own business after seven years in the personal care products space. Having previously held positions at New Crop Capital and Unovis, Frohman is now the Managing Partner of EverHope Capital – managing a portfolio that invests in plant-based companies.

Rich Kelleman

Bond Pets

Rich specialises in marketing. Rich has a strong background in the food industry with 20 years of experience working as a strategic planner at some of the most creative agencies in the world for clients like P&G, Kelloggs, Facebook, and Chevrolet. Now, Rich is the Founder and CEO of Bond – a pet nutrition brand that develops dog and cat food sourced from animal protein, without the animal.

Jared Schachter

Limited Partner at Clear Current Capital

Jared specialises in finance and operations. As well as having launched his own software company and e-commerce businesses, Jared has a background in operations management. He worked for McKinsey, focusing on operational turnarounds of large corporations, and later joined Uber as an Operations Manager, before moving into programme and product management.

Riccardo Astolfi

Regenerative Fooding

Riccardo specialises in R&D, production, and marketing. Riccardo is in charge of Research and Development for different plant based producers in Italy. His mission is to develop, and support the development of, good, fair, and healthy foods, that are beneficial to human health and to the planet. Foods which can regenerate soils, health and humanity.

David Trümner

New Food Company

David specialises in distribution, marketing, and business development. With 16 years of sales and marketing experience, David has extensive knowledge of setting up companies and has a huge network within the food industry.

Nate Crosser

Blue Horizon

Nate specialises in fundraising, scaling, and business development. Nate is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Blue Horizon Corporation AG, the only omni-stage investment firm focused on alternative proteins. There, he works on strategic projects to accelerate the growth of the alternative protein industry and Blue Horizon ecosystem of companies. In his previous role, Nate was the Startup Growth Specialist at the Good Food Institute.

Pavan Katepalli

500 startups

Pavan specialises in marketing and ensuring product market fit. Currently, Pavan is a 500 startups mentor and an angel investor in KidzToPros and Care Connection Health. Previously, Pavan was the Chief Learning Officer at Trilogy Education Services – the fastest growing education company in history, which was acquired in 2019 for $750 million. Pavan has taught data analytics and web development at UC Berkeley Extension, Northwestern University, Rutgers University, and Barnard College and was a lobbyist for the successful California Fur Ban Law.

Michael Ostermair

Ostermair + Partner

Michael specialises in R&D, production, distribution, scaling, marketing, and business management. Michael is an expert in the strategic development and operations of a food company – particularly in the areas of production and marketing. He has a wealth of experience in retail and food service with a focus on the plant-based sector.
